Volunteer Opportunities

Green Hills Animal Shelter (GHAS) relies on the generosity of donors and volunteers to carry out its mission. GHAS has a constant intake of animals and each one needs love and care. There are always dogs to walk and cats in need of attention.

Volunteering is a great service to the animals, but you will also benefit. Studies have shown that spending time with animals helps lower stress levels and blood pressure. Volunteering at GHAS is good for your emotional, physical and mental health!
